About Richmond
Founded in 1859 by Mormon pioneers, Richmond is rich in history while offering a welcoming small-town atmosphere, beautiful mountain scenery, and convenient access to both northern Utah and southeastern Idaho. Located near the Idaho border, Richmond offers a blend of historic homes, established neighborhoods, newer residential developments, and rural properties. Residents enjoy easy access to Cherry Peak Resort, High Creek Canyon, Logan Canyon, Bear Lake, and the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest for skiing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and snowmobiling. Richmond is also known for its strong community spirit and the annual Black & White Days celebration.
