About Flowell
After Brigham Tomkinson drilled the area's first successful artesian well in 1915, irrigation made farming possible across thousands of acres that had once been considered unusable desert. Today, Flowell offers peaceful country living surrounded by productive farmland while remaining only minutes from Fillmore and Interstate 15. Nearby attractions include the Ice Springs Lava Flow, Black Rock Desert Volcanic Field, Fishlake National Forest, Meadow Hot Springs, the Pahvant Range, Little Sahara Recreation Area, Fremont Indian State Park, and the Territorial Statehouse Museum in Fillmore. Residents enjoy ATV and UTV riding, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, wildlife viewing, rockhounding, photography, scenic drives, and stargazing.
