About South Jordan
South Jordan sits in the southwest Salt Lake Valley, between West Jordan to the north and Riverton and Herriman to the south, with the Oquirrh Mountains framing the west side. Roughly 80,000 residents call the city home, with Daybreak as the largest master-planned community. Housing stock blends established 1990s–2000s family neighborhoods with a deep inventory of 2010s–2026 new construction across Daybreak, Kennecott Land developments, and east-side subdivisions. I-15, Bangerter Highway, Mountain View Corridor, and TRAX light rail (Red Line) all serve the city.
