About Copperton
Copperton is an unincorporated metro township nestled against the Oquirrh Mountains on the southwest edge of the Salt Lake Valley, just west of Bingham Highway and south of West Jordan. Roughly 800 residents call the community home. Housing stock is dominated by historic 1920s–1940s company-town homes on small, consistent lots, with select custom redevelopment and a strongly preserved historic character. Bangerter Highway, Mountain View Corridor, and State Route 111 provide regional access; the Kennecott Bingham Canyon Mine anchors the area's industrial heritage.
